A note from the IACL Executive Committee: Vale Professor Rainer Arnold

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Professor Rainer Arnold on January 9, 2025, in Regensburg, Germany. Professor Arnold was a dedicated member of the IACL where he served as the co-chair of the “Rule of Law and Developments in Science and Technology” research group. His leadership and insights were very valuable to the IACL and the broader constitutional law community. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the comparative constitutional law will leave a lasting legacy.
