This virtual event will explore the recent developments and challenges linked to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. The panel discussion comprises experts working on aspects related to the armed conflict. The panellists will discuss issues connected to: (i) the recent case initiated by Ukraine at the International Court of Justice (ICJ): Allegations of Genocide under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Ukraine v. Russian Federation); and (ii) accountability efforts for the alleged international crimes committed during the Russia-Ukraine war from an international criminal law and Ukrainian domestic legal perspective.

The webinar may be of interest to a range of individuals including scholars (e.g. of public international law, international criminal law, international humanitarian law, international human rights law, etc.), legal practitioners, policymakers and the general public.
