Call for Papers: Special Issue 2027 of The International Journal of Transitional Justice

Call for Papers – Special Issue 2027 of The International Journal of Transitional Justice

“Guarantees of Non-Repetition through Constitutional Reform in Transitional Justice”

https://academic.oup.com/ijtj/pages/cfp-special-issue-2027.

This issue examines how constitutional reforms - whether new constitutions, interim frameworks, or profound amendments - can serve as mechanisms to prevent the recurrence of mass violence, repression, and human rights violations. We welcome contributions that bridge transitional justice, constitutional law, and peace and conflict studies, and encourage critical, comparative, and multidisciplinary perspectives.

This special issue builds on the research project Constitutions4Peace (https://www.constitutions4peace.com/), which explores the role of constitutional design in sustaining peace and preventing future atrocities
