CfP: Special Issue of Constitutional Studies on “Slavery and Constitution Making”

Constitutional Studies is seeking submissions for an issue devoted to the topic, "Slavery and Constitution Making." We are particularly interested in submissions discussing cases from the Global South (other than Brazil), Europe, and the Islamic World. We welcome work from young as well as established scholars.

Constitutional Studies is a peer reviewed journal rather than a law review. It focuses on comparative, theoretical, and empirical studies of issues in constitutional theory and practice.

Issue #8 is forthcoming later this Summer; it will comprise articles drawn from a Global Webinar Roundtable Series organized by the International Association for Constitutional Law entitled "Democracy 2020: Assessing Constitutional Breakdown and Decay and Renewal Worldwide", with Tom Daly and Wojciech Sadurski as guest editors
