Announcement: IACL-AIDC Book Prize in Constitutional Studies

Dear Colleagues,

We are writing on behalf of the International Association of Constitutional Law to invite nominations for the inaugural IACL-AIDC Book Prize in Constitutional Studies, which will be awarded at the IACL-AIDC World Congress in Bogotá in July 2026.

To be eligible, a book must have been published in 2025 and make a significant contribution to constitutional law, broadly understood. Books written in English or French are both eligible. Nominations are welcome from individual scholars, authors (self-nominations), and publishers.

To nominate, please complete the form here: https://forms.gle/e9dMj7FTk953MmLL9

You will also need to provide a copy of the nominated book. You may either email a digital copy to Darrick Northington at dnorthington@uchicago.edu, or send one hard copy to each of the four Prize Committee members. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the nominator.

The deadline for all nominations — digital or physical — is April 30, 2026.

Prize Committee mailing addresses are listed in the form. If you have any questions, please contact Darrick Northington at dnorthington@uchicago.edu.

We look forward to receiving your nominations.

Best,
