The Comparative Constitutions Project is pleased to announce that Constitute en español is now live. In addition, the draft Cuban Constitution is available for analysis on both the English and Spanish versions of the site. Visitors can compare the draft to the current Cuban Constitution or to other world constitutions — just in time for the February 24 referendum!

Every year, the Colombian Constitutional Court organizes an international event to discuss recent global constitutional law scholarship and domestic decisions. This year Justice Linares is in charge of organizing the event. As a result, the Court will host an academic conference regarding the “Colombian Constitutional Court in a global perspective”.

The Arab Association of Constitutional Law and International IDEA, with the support of the University of Legal and Political Sciences of Tunisia, announce the fourth edition of the Arab Association’s Constitutional Academy. The Academy is part of an effort to encourage a dynamic, continuous, and in-depth exchange of ideas within a new generation of scholars in the Arab region. Participants who are admitted to the Academy are required to identify trends in constitution-making across the region, and examine both how new constitutions were negotiated and drafted, and the ways they have been implemented.
