CfP: MPECCoL Call for Authors

The Max Planck Encyclopedia of Comparative Constitutional Law invites constitutional scholars and practitioners everywhere to contact our Managing Editor if they are interested in contributing to the Encyclopedia.

The Encyclopedia currently contains more than 375 peer-reviewed entries (and will ultimately consist of more than 600) covering all issues of constitutional law from a comparative perspective, involving scholars who represent all legal cultures. It is a comprehensive, inclusive reference work that allows the reader to study constitutional issues both in depth and in context (historical, conceptual, regional), allowing for wide-ranging research into related areas and topics. As such, this project seeks to fill the gap between the growing academic and practical relevance of the field of comparative constitutional law, on the one hand, and the shortage of appropriate reference works,on the other.

The purpose of the Encyclopedia, published by Oxford University Press, is to serve as a go-to source for constitutional scholars and practitioners across the globe. The Encyclopedia has a closed list of topics in the field of comparative constitutional law. A provisional list (subject to constant change) can be found here.
