Hosted by the Constitutional Law Area of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú School of Law, Themis and Konrad Adenauer Foundation

As part of the efforts to achieve the objectives of the Inter-American Network on Fundamental Rights and Democracy (RED–IDD), the Constitutional Law Area of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú School of Law and the non-profit organization Themis are organizing an Inter-American Fundamental Rights Week, with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

The conference will consist of two events: the Second National Symposium on Fundamental Rights (9-10 October) and the Fourth Inter-American Symposium on Fundamental Rights (11-13 October).

As in previous years, the Inter-American Fundamental Rights Week will be an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and academic reflection among professors and researchers from the different universities that form part of the network, addressing topics of particular importance for the consolidation of the Constitutional State and the full realization of fundamental rights in Latin America.

Those interested in presenting an unpublished paper on a topic related to the thematic roundtable of their choice (as detailed in the attached documents containing the event schedule) should observe the following requirements:

• Font: Arial 11.
• Single-space.
• Papers shall be a minimum of ten (10) and a maximum of fifteen (15) pages long.
• Footnote with applicant’s academic profile.
• Citations using APA Guidelines.
• Official languages: Spanish or Portuguese.

The deadline for the reception of papers is 10 September.

The most outstanding papers may be published at a later date by the organising committee. The applicant should submit his or her paper to the following email address: jornadaddff@gmail.com.
