The Hague University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia, are organizing a conference in The Hague on 21-22 November 2019 on the topic of: The Protection of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights at an Age of Exits.
The main idea of the conference is to bring together practitioners and academics to discuss the impact of the age of Exits to the protection of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights from the perspective of comparative constitutional law and human rights law.
The organisers are interested in a wide array of related sub-topics, involving cardinal concepts of constitutional law (e.g. necessity and proportionality analysis) as well as human rights perspectives – or combinations thereof.
The call for papers can be consulted here.
The deadline for abstract submissions is 30 June 2019.
Selected papers will be published at a special issue of the Constitutional Review Journal.
Some limited financial support might be offered to selected early career academics.
