Announcement: Centre for Constitutions in Context (CCC) Roundtable on AI and Constitutional Law (Online)

The Centre for Constitutions in Context (CCC) at Warwick Law School (WLS) will be hosting a timely roundtable discussion on AI and Constitutional Law.

Date: 4 March 2026

Time: 5pm-6:30pm GMT

Format: Online, via an MS Teams town hall

Participating in the roundtable will be:

·         Professor Aziz Huq (University of Chicago)

·         Professor Giovanni De Gregorio (Católica Global School of Law)

·         Dr Jennifer Raso (McGill University)

·         Professor Mila Versteeg (University of Virginia)

·         Professor Richard Albert (University of Texas at Austin)

Moderated and opening remarks delivered by CCC co-directors, Dr David Vitale and Dr Mara Malagodi, respectively.

The roundtable will consider, among other aspects:

·         To what extent governments globally are using AI

·         AI’s advantages for constitutional drafting, comparative constitutional law research, and administrative decision-making

·         The potential dangers of AI

·         AI’s constitutional implications

·         Possible reforms
